Welcome to nextmatch.lol ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the nextmatch.lol website and all related services (the "Service"). By accessing, browsing, or using nextmatch.lol, you ("user" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Introduction

By using nextmatch.lol, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept all of these Terms, you are not authorized to use nextmatch.lol.

2. Description of Service

nextmatch.lol enables users to select their favorite League of Legends esports leagues and automatically sync the match schedules for those leagues to their Google Calendar. The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce or modify features, which may include paid or premium options, at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must sign in with your Google account using Google OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach of your account.

4. Privacy and Data Usage

Your privacy is important to us. All personal data collected is managed according to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it carefully.

Information obtained from your Google account is used solely to provide the core functionality of syncing your chosen esports matches to your Google Calendar. Data collected via Google APIs will never be sold or used for advertising and will only be used as necessary to provide the Service, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

5. Third-Party Services

nextmatch.lol utilizes third-party services essential for providing and improving the Service:

  • Vercel: Hosting of the web application.
  • Supabase: Database management and Google OAuth authentication; securely stores user data and tokens.
  • Trigger.dev: Manages background tasks such as fetching match data and syncing calendars.
  • PostHog: Collects analytics data to help us improve the user experience.
  • PandaScore API: Supplies all esports match data.
  • Google Calendar API: Connects to your Google Calendar to create and manage events.

Each third-party provider has its own legal policies and privacy practices which may apply to you through your use of the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA PROVIDED THROUGH NEXTMATCH.LOL ARE OFFERED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data (including match schedules) will be accurate or complete. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

That being said, the limited scope that the application has access to, which is limited to managing the Google Calendars created by nextmatch.lol, prevents you from any damage to your personal data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nextmatch.lol and its owner will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of data, missed matches, calendar errors, or interruptions in service.

8. Changes to Terms or Service

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time and to change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, including introducing paid features. Changes to the Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after such updates signifies your acceptance of the modified Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly.

9. Termination

You may stop using nextmatch.lol at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in France.
